Where to sell your Online Boutique Inventory

Where to sell your Online Boutique Inventory

As an online boutique owner, selling is one of the top things that can make or break your business. After all whats your business without sales right? Selling is a challenge even the biggest and largest corporations out there with huge marketing budgets face – so don’t feel like its anything wrong with your business.

However the secret is down to what platforms we choose to sell our products. Some platforms obviously work better than others depending on what type of products you sell. But not to worry because I have created a special video where I share my top 5 platforms you could look into selling your online boutique inventory.

These are platforms myself and some of my clients use to attract more sales and gain brand visibility. So feel free to check it out below and let me know which platforms are currently working best for you.

YOUR WEBSITE

Selling your online boutique products on your own website is highly recommended as a starting point.  Your website is the platform where your customers will find you, browse through your products and make that purchase decision. You also have the potential to attract a world wide audience by having a website set up for your business. You can get a website created very easily at Shopify.

DEPOP

Depop is another great platform to sell your online boutique inventory. Think of depop as the instagram for  fashion boutiques. It works just like Instagram in terms of using hashtags to attract new followers – except you use hashtags to attract new sales to your products. Great right? So go download the depot app on your phone, follow the instructions and start selling your products.

PINTEREST

Pinterest is another great platform to sell your online boutique inventory. Firstly you will need to ensure that you have a website up and running for this to work given the fact that Pinterest isn’t an ecommerce platform on its own. Pinterest is a search engine platform meaning if people went online searching for products you sell, they will most likely stumble on your website and essentially purchase your products. So go create a free Pinterest account (if not already on it) and start uploading those products for sale.

FACEBOOK

Facebook is another powerful platform to sell your online boutique inventory. Again you will need to have a website for this to work given that Facebook isn’t an E-commerce platform on its own. Next make sure you create a Facebook business page which will then allow you to add the shop feature. So go head over to Facebook, create a business account and get selling.

INSTAGRAM

Instagram is another powerful platform to sell your online boutique inventory. Because instagram is linked to your Facebook account you will need to ensure that you have a Facebook shop created first, then link it to your instagram account.

POSHMARK

Poshmark is another powerful platform to sell your online boutique inventory.  Unfortunately this is only available in the USA at the time of writing this article. So for those of you based in the USA, you could look into creating a free Postmark account, and listing your products for sale.
